About the training
This profitraining is focused on developing practical tools for improvisation. Through mobility work, grounding, sensory listening, and playful movement tasks, participants explore inspiration from images, textures, space, sound, and partner interaction. The class encourages spontaneous physical responses, creative decision-making, and a deeper awareness of how we interact with music, space, and each other while improvising. We maintain a consistent structure with some basic sequences of movement to allow exploration, while changing the exercises to dive into different improvisation tools.
The training is taught in English.
About Miranda
Miranda is an Argentinian dancer, performer, and teacher. She began her training at the age of eight in classical ballet and later graduated as a teacher from the José Neglia School of Dance. Her practice expands into contemporary dance, physical theater, music, somatic techniques, and performance. Since 2015, she has collaborated with independent dance companies internationally and developed personal projects within collectives, managing and producing multidisciplinary events. Active as a teacher since 2021, she focuses on movement research and improvisation, supported by training in yoga, Pilates, and somatic practices. In 2020, she founded Zoomnormal, a performance research company exploring intersections with technology, which has received support from the National Arts Fund and the Metropolitan Fund of Buenos Aires. She has directed video dance projects and worked in audio visual editing, delving into expanded dramaturgies. Miranda is based in Europe since 2024.
