About the training
FluentbodyTM is a fully guided class that blends intuitive movement, dance and deep
body awareness. The technique was invented by Florencia Lamarca, a former
professional Gaga dancer and now body therapist. Each class is built around a
specific intention, inviting participants to explore different sensations, qualities, and
emotional experiences through breath, sensory imagery, shaking and grooving.
The classes at Tanzplattform will be a combination of FluentbodyTM and
contemporary dance improvisation. Together, these practices encourage freedom of
movement, imagination and embodied awareness. We move what needs to be
moved, bridging the physical and emotional self, and create space for expression,
release, and connection. Each class is an invitation to listen, to feel, and to let
movement become a language that does not only reconnect us with ourselves but
also the people we share the space with.
About Paula
Paula is a dancer and somatic dance teacher from Hamburg, Germany. After
studying dance in different settings and formations, she discovered her interest in
contemporary release techniques and deep body-mind awareness. In 2025 she
completed the FluentbodyTM Teacher Training in Berlin and has been teaching
classes since. In the 2026/27 season, she will be part of a new performance project
with Attila Ronai, a former dancer of Hofesh Shechter & Sita Ostheimer, organised
by EXIT Elan Hamburg. Her interest in dance centers primarily on finding ways how
to access our vulnerable and most honest self, building spaces where empathy,
listening and togetherness can be explored through soft but powerful movement.©
